PHIBROWS MICROBLADING – THE PERFECT-TWIN EYEBROWS YOU HAD ONLY DREAMT OF!

WHAT IS PHIBROW MICROBLADING?

PhiBrow Microblading is one of its kind brow enhancer, and a form of high-end eyebrow microblading, which not only enhances your brows but also elevates the overall facial features. This is a manual procedure that uses a semi-permanent technique to draw a pair of hyper-realistic eyebrows. In this procedure, the shape of the brows to be drawn is determined by a deep analysis of the study of the patient/client’s facial features and facial structure. Along with studying the facial structure what helps the most in making accurate markings, is the PhiBrows Divider also known as the compass. There is a golden proportion of 1.618 which helps you measure the facial structure while chalking a perfect sketch with no extra efforts.

PhiBrows Microblading procedure is looked at very highly within the semi-permanent and permanent make-up industry, which is why this treatment is only recommended to people over the age of 18 years. It is very rare that under 18 years of age is suggested to get the treatment. But, if so, they must be accompanied by their parents or guardians.

WHY PHIBROWS MICROBLADING?

Many people across the globe are not in love with their eyebrows, and that’s the reality, believe it or not. Well, the reason could be many, but to list a few major ones: scanty brows which make the face look empty or less appealing, too thin or too thick brows may also make the face look too full. Mostly, people long for a perfect twin pair of eyebrows which gives the face an aesthetic boost and makes it look appealing. Eyebrow Microblading or PhiBrows Microblading comes into picture when you need that perfect-twin-pair of eyebrows.

TREATMENT

For a successful eyebrow microblading or a PhiBrow Microblading treatment, the basic and foremost necessity is your skin should not be in the regeneration process or there shouldn’t be any kind of damage, or any skin related issues such as acne, redness, etc. In cases where the patient has acne, pimples, rashes, redness, sore skin, cuts or wounds, eczema or any related damage, in or around the brow area, they must undergo a topical treatment using PhiTopic Cream as suggested by the doctor/specialist. The PhiTopic cream application treatment is generally for seven days, but the assessment is usually done and treatment is recommended by the doctor/specialist. This cream is normally available to order or purchase from the clinic itself.

This is mostly a painless procedure for many, but it depends on the person’s pain endurance levels. So, for many sensitive or scared clients, the pain is relative, very similar to that of plucking your eyebrows. Also, the women who intend to get their PhiBrows Microblading treatment done must ensure they are not menstruating as the sensation while the treatment may aggravate. If still there are clients who wish to get the treatment done, yet are very scared of pain, then the option of using anesthetics or numbing creams and gels is readily available. Using anesthetics is absolutely at the convenience and agreement between the client and the doctor. During the procedure, the strokes are drawn in the direction of natural hair growth simply to achieve a hyper-realistic eyebrow look.

Post the procedure is completed, how you take care of the treated area/region is extremely important for the results to last longer and become even better. The patient will be prohibited from undergoing any form of harsh facial treatments such as bleaching, chemical peels, acids, laser treatments, etc. Even the usage of any harsh facial products such as creams, gels, washes, lotion, etc must be avoided for a minimum of 1 month until the doctor determines no further restrictions needed. Pre-procedure treatments such as fillers, lasers, peels, botox, etc must not be used.

HOW IS THE EYEBROW PIGMENT DETERMINED DURING THE TREATMENT?

It is during your first sitting/consultation your facial morphology is studied well by the doctor. This not only includes the proportionate sketching of the perfect eyebrows but also involves determining the pigment to be used. It is most likely the color of the client’s natural hair and eyebrows which determines the pigment of the PhiBrow Microblading treatment. Once the healing process is completed, the color of the eyebrows becomes several shades brighter than the natural hair color. The symmetry of this treatment, the pigment, the placement, etc. are calculated and recorded aptly and accurately by using the PhiBrows application. This calculation is carried out while the client’s eyes are closed. It is so, because, when the eyes are closed the mimetic muscles that may affect the eyebrows are completely relaxed, therefore, leading to accurate measurements. Before and after, and during the treatment images are taken through and through this procedure; stored in the application under the client’s treatment history for any future references or retouch sessions.

MONOLIDS – DO YOU WONDER HOW TO GET RID OF THEM?

As a metaphor, eyelids have been contemplated as “beautiful curtains that hide your emotions and soul.” No wonder why since ages emphasis has been laid on the ornamentation of this curtain which modestly reveals and conceals the most expressive and dramatic element of the face i.e. the eyes. Application of concealers, eyeliners, eyeshadows and many more similar adornment products on the eyelids have been a consistent and undaunted practice of countless women across the globe irrespective of caste, religion, nationality & complexion.

It’s rather hard to believe that till a few years back certain section of women were not that fortunate. They would have to keep scrutinizing their appearances & fiddling around with makeup techniques that claimed to cater to those with monolids.

WHAT ARE MONOLIDS?

Monolids refers to the absence of eyelid crease. The crease which enhances the appearance of eyes, whilst making them more expressive, beautiful and bigger looking; in other words, the presence of eye crease makes the eye and the face look appealing. Approximately 50 present of East & Southeast Asian women is born with a minimal or absent supratarsal eyelid crease (double eyelid). The experts relate such features to the cold & bitter conditions of the Mammoth steppe during the Pleistocene, some 6,00,000 years ago.

Innumerable frustrating and lurid instances have been narrated by similar women when they have slowly dragged the pencil across their closed eyelids, only to discover with open eyes, the line to disappear. It was as if the eyelids swallowed the pigment, altogether.

Apart from the aesthetic demeanour; at times, certain underlying functional factors can be more crucial.  Sometimes they can have a very narrow field of vision. This situation of narrowed vision or limited vision can be distressing and annoying, especially while you’re driving or carrying out similar tasks that require complete awareness of your entire surroundings.

MELASMA – THE MASK OF PREGNANCY

Skin Hyper Pigmentation
The Mask of Pregnancy

Melasma is one of the common skin issues more amongst women than men. It is the discolouration of skin in patches. This condition can happen due to hormonal changes, mostly during pregnancy or can happen due to sun exposure.

LET’S LEARN MORE ABOUT MELASMA

Skin pigmentation disorders attract attention and at times culminate to disgust, rejection, exclusion, discrimination, loss of self-esteem & depression. Melasma (also known as chloasma faciei, or the mask of pregnancy when present in pregnant women) is tan or dark skin discolouration. It’s characterized by irregular light- to grey-brown macules and blotches. They typically appear on the forehead, chin, cheeks, upper lip, or nose. Hormonal changes during pregnancy can trigger melasma. This explains why it’s been branded as the mask of pregnancy.

Melasma is thought to be the stimulation of melanocytes which are cells in the dermal layer known to be useful in the transfer of a pigment called melanin, to the keratinocytes of the skin. Genetics, starting or stopping hormonal contraception including birth control pills, exposure to UV radiation, cosmetics, phototoxic drugs and antiseizure medications can be some of the underlying factors which enkindle such incitements.

HOW CAN MELASMA BE TREATED?

  • If this condition occurs during the pregnancy or due to contraceptive pills, then post-delivery or by stopping the intake of birth control pills Melasma also fades away.
  • There are several over the counter drugs/creams which, when applied topically on the affected area can make a great visible difference.
  •  There are those cases too, where no topical application makes validating difference. That is when superficial, medium and deep chemical peels are commonly practised techniques to deal with this type of skin pigmentation.
  • Laser technology also has demonstrated significant efficacy in the treatment of a variety of hyperpigmentation disorders including melasma.

With state-of-the-art laser machine and highest recommended active Chemical Peel ingredient, we at Orange tree Health cater to our patients suffering from similar skin pigmentation disorders. The results achieved are highly satisfactory.

ENLARGED MALE BREAST GLAND – GYNAECOMASTIA

Does enlarged breast gland turn a male to a female

“In college, I had several relationships, but I was uncomfortable when it came down to getting naked, so I avoided it & broke off the relationships once they came to that point. It first began, when I was schooling. I started wearing shirts, & slouching a little in public. I never went swimming after that. I called in sick during any school activities that would require me to be shirtless. My enlarged breast always came in my way of showing my masculinity. In the initial stages, I also feared if I was turning into a female.” These are a few of the confessions of a 22-year-old individual, struggling to overcome, the fear of being marginalized or subordinated within gender hierarchies because of enlarged breasts.

Strength (emotional & physical), muscular development, invulnerability & control are associated with the male psyche in health. Shame, perceived stigma, vulnerability, sadness, anxiety, a sense of unfairness, loneliness is all associated with male breast problems.

Breast development is considered a female feature and can lead to a sense of ‘ruined identity’ in men. Discussing a problem that is not a threat to life or related to sports is considered a weakness by some men.

This condition of male breast enlargement is due to hormonal imbalances leading to abnormal development of the mammary gland and is known as Gynaecomastia. The breast gland enlargement is completely independent of the genetic make-up of the person. This may be caused or triggered during puberty, ageing or may even occur due to certain health conditions and medications leading to hormone imbalances in the body. We at Orange Tree, treat it by sculpturing the chest wall with tumescent liposuction & surgical excision of the residual breast gland. Results achieved post a successful procedure is phenomenal. We have seen patients cry out of joy. Though this condition isn’t life-threatening but, most certainly depressing.

This condition of enlarged male breast tissue or gland is treatable by a medical professional and usually, it is self-diagnosable. In order to treat gynaecomastia, it is highly important to consult and visit the best plastic surgeon or the best cosmetic surgeon in your city.
